If you’re like me Coffee is one of the reasons I jump out of bed in the morning! Especially now that I get to brew my very own coffee and I know 20% is going back to help our nonprofit partners. I have been in a coffee slump lately though. I am one for routine but occasionally like to spice things up! That’s why I have created a list of my top 5 favorite coffee Recipes! I scoured the internet to find things to take my coffee obsession to the next level from simple iced coffee to cheesecake. I hope this list will inspire you to try something new as well as restock on our “Dee’s Roast” to give back 20% to TWLOHA!

Wow! 2020 has been a tough year for everyone with so many lessons, grief, new challenges, and a better sense of what is important. I was not prepared for it but I am a better person for it. Although the year has been challenging It is important to look back and celebrate your wins and think ahead for your new goals.

Looking back at the first four months we've been in business, Redeemed Coffee has been able to accomplish SO much and I am so grateful for each of you who helped make this possible!

  • 8/10/2020- Launched Redeemed Coffee Company in honor of my Father Charles Deval Lewis.

  • 8/24/2020- Announced our first nonprofit partner, Shatterproof!

  • 9/29/2020- We celebrated National Coffee Day with Kendra Scott and were able to raise $315 from 20% of purchases.

  • 10/23/2020- We started taking preorders and through your excitement raised $500.

  • 11/20/2020- We officially launched our first roast "Dee's Roast" a single origin blend from Colombia with tasting notes of grapefruit and hazelnut.

  • 12/1/2020- We added donation options to our page in celebration of Giving Tuesday but kept it on our site to do the most good.

  • 12/6/2020- We launched our "Cup of Cheer Gifts sets" for you to share with your loved ones over the Holidays to give the gift that gives back.

  • 1/2/2021- Through your help and support, our partnerships, donations, and sales we were able to reach our giveback goal of $1,500 for Shatterproof!

Looking ahead into 2021, we are excited to begin with our new partner To Write Love on Her Arms and hit more of our goals!

First let me introduce you to our new partner. To Write Love on Her Arms is a nonprofit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide. TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire, and invest directly into treatment and recovery.

We are excited for this new partnership and cannot wait to achieve the same if not greater giveback for them through your support!

Other goals we plan on crushing this year:

  • Continue to honor my dad's memory by furthering our mission to help organizations end the stigma of addiction, find more research on recovery solutions, and provide proper mental health resources. All while providing you guys with amazing coffee and a supportive and open community.

  • Launch 2 new roasts.

  • Create more partnerships within the community to host popups, podcasts, and more.

Thank you in advance for helping us march towards these goals! We are looking forward to a bright coffee-filled 2021.

All the best,

Michaela Lewis
